(Greek Deity) AGLAIA

Also known as AGLAEA
Attributes :
Festival Days :
When in Rome :

The youngest of Zeus and Eurynome's Graces.

Aglaia was known as 'splendour.' She was also gorgous and gentle so Haphaestus wasted no-time making her his second wife when Aphrodite's bed hopping antics became too much to bear.

Funnily enough, it was Aglaia and her sisters who threw a comforting arm around the love goddess when she reaped the rewards for canoodling with her husband's brother, Ares.

We can't help thinking that the goddess of splendour was also the goddess of opportunity. The little minx.
