SCIRON

Also known as

Greek thief. His Stomping ground was the cliffs along Megara who were named after him and just like Sinis, Sciron was a fully paid-up member of the creative robbing club. You've got to applaud their commitment.

Sciron had a mobile foot-spa and would invite passers by to wash the grime from their feet free of charge, then kick them over the cliff when they weren't looking. The man-eating turtle waiting for them in the ocean below only made matters worse and the fact they died with lovely clean feet was scant consolation.

But there's nothing like sweet justice and Sciron picked the wrong day and the wrong traveller when he tried it on with Theseus. The tables were quickly turned and Scirion fell foul of his own twisted routine as well as off the cliff.
