(Hindu Deity)VYASA

Mr. Big of Indian literature, the immortal author reputed to have been involved in all of the early best sellers.

Vyasa was fully grown within moments of birth and a Rishi in no time at all, and had the epic Mahābhārata flying off the shelves like the proverbial hot cake such was his creative streak. And with a partner like Ganesha, unrivalled with pen or tusk in hand, it was an unbelievable dream team of creative talent.

He was the son of Satyavati, a ferryman's daughter affectionately known as 'she who smells of fish' and a wandering sage called Parashara, but it didn't stop him from cunningly breaking the Veda down into four easier to digest chunks when he spotted mankinds lack of stamina and short attention span.

Considered an Avitar of Vishnu and one of the eight Chiranjeevin immortals, he was always in demand especially by frustrated women and is the spiritual father of numerous children incuding the Pandavas and Kauravas.

Vyasa's work is still as popular today as it was back then but he hasn't released anything for quite some time, possibly because he is still recovering from his early burst of genius.
